Duties and Responsibilities
· Property, Mineral Reserves, and Mineral Leases.
o Review and Approve Site Mining Plans
o Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements

Education and Experience:

This important role has many responsibilities regarding product improvement and new product development. The incumbent will supply technical support to the Americas organization for specialty chemicals / minerals products. Key will be to evaluate customer problems and /or complaints from a technical standpoint and supply the Applied Technical Service Manager and Regional Sales Managers with the information needed to make sound decisions regarding new product development and countering competitive products. The engineer will also provide laboratory technical support for various technical programs, and develop procedures and formulations that will enhance the potential for increasing sales. The strong candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in a technical field plus one to three years of direct formulation experience in chemicals or mineral products.
Other key responsibilities include:
Supply the technical rationale for convincing the customer base to purchase products consistent with sales priorities.
Evaluate new and existing products for applicability and technical performance.
