Mill Superintendent
Company  : Minerals Leader
Location   : Domestic U.S.
Champion the effort to improve overall productivity and profitability. This individual will lead the milling operation. Looking for an individual who has a solid track record mentoring and developing personnel. Responsibilities also include:

    * Develop and implement creative, innovative, proactive operations.
    * Direct training and development of mill/plant personnel.
    * Responsible for plant process optimization, trouble shooting and debottlenecking at continuous processing operations.

 

Experience should include:

·         Supervised production and processing operations with at least 5 years of successful supervisory experience

Production Manager – Milling

Production Manager – Milling

Operational responsibility and accountability for production in Milling operation.  Responsible for setting the vision and to achieve business objectives while building a positive plant culture.  Additionally, provide leadership and  implement organizational strategies in production area(s) to meet safety, quality and production design goals in addition to cost objectives, product/technology development and promoting a strong team atmosphere.  

Responsibilities

•    Actively lead and support the plant safety programs
•    Establish systems to ensure conformance to quality requirements
•    Manage production operations to meet product demand requirements, exceeding design parameters, and facilitating product/technology development opportunities

Production Manager / Assistant Plant Manager

The Assistant Plant Manager will enjoy high visibility within a global company while exercising significant managerial responsibility on the production side of the operation.  This role will be based in an important operation that is key to company success.  The incumbent will work to achieve established production and shipping goals while ensuring quality assurance levels, and will plan, schedule, and supervise all operational functions.

•    Supervsing the operating departments of Environmental, Furnaces, Refining.
•     Scheduling furnace operations and refining to meet production requirements and coordinating the maintenance activity to minimize costs.
•    Maintain safe working conditions and practices and operate the plant in compliance with all OSHA and other environmental regulations.
•    Prepare reports, attend meetings, etc. to promote open communication between plant personnel.
•    Assist subordinates in the accomplishment of their business objectives and their efforts to develop themselves professionally.
•    Evaluate superintendents and supervisors’ performance and periodically review results.  Assist them to meet objectives, performance standards, quality, housekeeping and all areas of their responsibilities.
•    Recommend salary merit and promotion increases for his direct reports.

Requirements:

•    It is imperative that interested candidates come from a 7+ year background in heavy industrial manufacturing preferably in process industries such as Chemicals, Polymers, Petroleum, Pyrometalurgy, etc.
•    Prefer experience in those industries that rely on high temperature processing.
•    Engineering Degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or the like.
