Description and Qualifications

Mine / Quarry Manager

Our client is a highly successful, growing minerals company that is expanding operations and developing new properties. They are looking for a Mine/Quarry Manager who will have responsibility for managing Mine Planning, Engineering and Production personnel. This person will also coordinate drilling and blasting, crushing, screening, conveying and capital projects.

The background should include a BS Mining or Civil Engineering. Mine/Quarry engineering, planning and production management experience. Also, drilling and blasting, crushing, conveying and capital projects experience.

Mill Manager

Our client is a dynamic, growing minerals company that is expanding operations and developing new properties. They are looking for a Mill Manager who will have responsibility for operations management, mill process improvements, trouble shooting and debottlenecking. The successful candidate will work closely with Corporate Management personnel.

The background should include a BS Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar. Experience in mineral processing including grinding and concentrating. Experience working in mill operations, maintenance and engineering.

General Description for other mine and quarry-related positions:

• Manage Mine / Quarry planning-short and long range.

• Direct Engineering and Production.

• Coordinate drilling and blasting, crushing, screening and conveying.

• Direct quarry capital projects.

• Hold a BS Mining or Civil Engineering.

• Have experience in Mine / Quarry engineering, planning, production supervision, and drilling and blasting.

• Have an interest in moving into senior management.
